When I ENERGIZE I'm told my URL is bad. It isn't! What's going on?

Oh, it probably is wrong, you just don't know it. It turns out that browsers and webservers do a lot to try and "fix" bad URLs, so often, the URL you type into a browser isn't really the right URL, but it gets fixed up and you never notice.
