Not all sites allow you to directly check for the existence of a particular URL in their index. In such "inexact" cases, you'll be able to do a search that displays both your URLs and the URLs of sites that link to you.

The URL you enter should be the "root" URL of your site; for me this might be "http://selfpromotion.com/", and for you it might be "http://members.aol.com/billclinton/", for example. However, please note that this checker works best if you are searching for a domain (such as "http://selfpromotion.com/") as opposed to a particular directory of pages (like "http://members.aol.com/billclinton/").

Root URL of your site (tip: you can sometimes get better results by omitting the "www." (ie: use "http://animeigo.com/" instead of "http://www.animeigo.com/"):

A single word that is guaranteed to be on your home page (but is not a common word like "a", "the", etc.) Some sites need this to find your page!:

Note: please do not use angle-brackets (<>) or single- or double-quotes (' \") in the fields of this form. It will screw up the query, and thus is not allowed.

Bonus feature: if you enter your email address below, I'll email you a list of URLs that you can use at any time to check whether you are listed.
