How often should I resubmit my site?

The first thing to recognize is that there are two different situations - resubmitting to Indexes, and resubmitting to search engines.

You should NOT resubmit to Indexes on a regular basis. The only time you resubmit to an index is if, after a few months, they haven't added you. Then you can try again.

A case can be made for resubmitting to Search Engines, however. You should resubmit if your page content has changed considerably, and I also like to do a "preventative resubmit" every so often. The idea behind this is that search engines take months to add listings, and if they drop me for some reason, I'd like to have a submission in the queue to increase my odds of getting in more quickly.

What I like to do is this; use the main Tooter submission system to submit the most important pages on my website, and the "autoresubmit" option to resubmit these pages every 45 days. I also use the Multisubmitter tool to deep submit ALL my pages every 6 months or so.
